Making Reservation/booking

1. What is Serviced Apartment?

A Serviced Apartment is a self-contained apartment comprising a living area, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/kitchenette - all the facilities of a home. The apartments are referred to as being 'serviced' because they are managed, maintained and cleaned for you, in a similar way to what you would expect from a hotel room. Apartments can be booked quickly and easily, just as you'd book a hotel.

2. How do I reserve my suit at Bistari Apartment Suites?

Making an online reservation is easy. Just complete and send the booking form making sure that you have given us your e-mail address, Mobile number and etc... As soon as we receive your request we will contact you to confirm the reservation. It is our policy to reply to all requests within 24 to 48 hours (this time may be longer during high season, weekends, festival periods or special events).

To make a booking, you must submit a reservation form. Then we will check our availability and revert.

5. Can I make a reservation directly through the Bistari Apartment Suites?

The special rates listed are only available through our online service. If you would like to make a reservation directly with our suits you will need to contact us.

6. What if the Suite/Apartment that I request is not available?

You will be notified via an e-mail (within 24 to 48 hours after placing your request) and you will not be charged.

7. What is the latest time that I can make my reservation?

Even if we accept all bookings that are made on the check-in date, we can only guarantee bookings made at least 1-working day (not including Sundays & Public holidays) before the check-in date (if our suits has not already been fully booked). The earlier you book, the better chance you have to get a confirmed reservation.

8. How far ahead can I book? Can I book say 15 months in advance?

You can book 15 months in advance, but it will be conformed only within 3 months period. During the reservation process, you will be offered to receive a reminder for your convenience (a month, 15 or 3 days prior check in). Note that your credit card will be not charged when you receive your email confirmation.

9. Can I specify where I would like my Suite/Apartment located (preferred floor, next to pool, etc.)?

There is section will appear on the Booking Form to insert such requests and submit them to Bistari Apartment suites. Our staff will do their best to accommodate special requests. We cannot guarantee that your requests will be granted because depend on availability.

10. How do I make a reservation for someone else?

To complete a reservation for someone else, simply type in his or her name instead of yours for guest name. Don't forget to use your email address to receive your confirmation information.

11. What happens to my Suite/Apartment booking if my flight is delayed?

Please inform directly the Bistari Apartment suits as any additional or no charge will depend on the Bistari Apartment Suites policy.

Confirmation of my reservation

1. What happens when I make a reservation?

All reservations will be followed up within a few hours with emails to confirm your booking or suggest to you alternative choice if the suites has been fully booked.

2. What sort of acknowledgment will I receive when I book an Apartment?

When the booking is confirmed (by email and SMS if you request so). A voucher will be sent directly to the person made the reservation. You will also be able to print your reservation confirmation number, you may be asked to present to our customer service upon check in. Generally, you only present your identification to our customer service when you check in.

3. What is a CONFIRMATION NUMBER?

Once the booking is confirmed, we will send you, by email, a confirmation number detailing all the reservation and price conditions. We invite you to make printout of this confirmation number to be kept and presented at the time of your check-in.

4. How do I know if my Suite/Apartment reservation is confirmed?

We will send you a confirmation email. We can also send you a message by SMS (Short Message System) directly to your mobile phone if you request so during the reservation process. This email will include a confirmation number & containing the dates and details of your reservation. Note that the confirmation number attached to the mail must to be kept until you arrive at the location.

5. Do I need to confirm my booking with the Bistari Apartment Suites directly?

No. The Confirmation Number printed from the confirmation mail is all you need.

6. How long does it take to get a confirmation?

24 to 48 hours except for special cases (during festival periods, weekends, high season, or special events...). It may sometimes take only a few hours: we are trying our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

Changing/Cancelling a reservation

1. What is your cancellation policy for Bistari Apartment Suites reservations?

Any policies dictated by the Bistari Apartment Suites will always supersede those stated here. In such case our Customer Service Agents will of course inform you clearly and completely. Otherwise it will follow the cancellation policy.

2. What is your Credit Card Refund Policy?

Please note that refunds will be made in the form of a credit to your card account. All credit card refunds will be processed in a timely manner. The refunds process is dependent on your billing cycle with the credit card company. Once the refund instructions leave our office it can take anywhere from 10-20 working days for the proceeds to arrive in your account. No, we don’t provide any children accessories.

2. How much is charged for children staying with their parents?

Children under 12 years of age stay for free in their parent's suite using the existing bedding. The general policy concerning suite charges for children traveling together with their parents or family is as follows. Children more than 12 years of age: Any child this age is considered an adult by the suits industry. The child supplements will apply to children between the ages of 2-12 years (unless a different age range is specified). They only apply in twin or double suites. Child supplements will not be available if the child age is not specified at the time of booking and we will charge for three adults in a triple suits if this information is not supplied. Free cots for babies are not available.

3. Do your suits have minimum age requirements?

Please be aware that we don’t allowed any customer check in with age of 18 years and below, we only accept adult check in 18 years and above. Foreign and domestic, may have minimum age restrictions or requirements when reserving a suite. Please inquire with the Bistari Apartment Suites directly. We have the respect for your privacy and security. We never divulge any information in our fully encrypted database account to anyone without your consent. Once you enter the reservations system to book a reservation, you are automatically taken into a secure booking engine that guarantees a safe and smooth transaction. We are very confident about the Internet security provided by Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL). The security features built into Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, and AOL, protect your Internet communications with: server authentication, privacy using encryption, and data integrity. 1. Are the rates on your site per person or per Suits/Apartment per night?

The quoted suite/Apartment rate is per suite/Apartment per night. The rate will reflect the number of persons you entered on the booking Form.

5. My credit card number is correct, but the Bistari Apartment Suites is not accepting it. Why?

There are a few possibilities:

  • The card expiration date precedes the reservation date.
  • You have reached your credit limit.
  • There is a computer error.

6. Why is the price different to when I last checked?

Apart from changes that may be made to reflect market conditions, the prices are shown in the currency requested by the user and these are subject to currency fluctuations. Therefore there may be slight variations in price on a daily basis that will reflect any movement in the currency exchange levels. Once a booking has been created however, the currency exchange rate for that booking is fixed as those at the booking creation date, even if further items are added to the booking. Most importantly, the prices include service charges, local taxes.

7. When will I be charged?

Once we have received your credit card details, we simply check from our bank, in order to guarantee / secure your booking. Until the Bistari Apartment Suites accepts your booking, no immediate charge is made. We will charge your credit card in US dollars for the Bistari Apartment Suites suite only after having supplied you with a confirmed reservation.

8. Is there any fee using our booking service?

There is no charge, no fee to use our booking service for suits reservations and, in fact, you will usually save a lot of money by booking at our special rates.

1. How do I get to Bistari Apartment suites?

Please check our location link that contains information relating to our location. It is your own responsibility to arrange travel to and from the Bistari Apartment Suites. Otherwise please let us know if you need pick up from the airport.

2. Is there a Bistari Apartment Suites shuttle service to/from the airport?

You can easily find different kinds of Limousine Car Service at Kuala Lumpur airport. We do recommend you to use this service since it is the cheapest which is always available. There is fast train take you from the airport to the city central (KL Central) 25 Minutes to reach after that you need a taxi.

4. What are the different of suite categories?

Generally Bistari Apartment Suites tend to place their bed suites within five different categories:

  • Deluxe 1 Bedroom Apartment
  • Deluxe 2 Bedroom Apartment
  • Deluxe 3 Bedroom Apartment
  • Deluxe 4 Bedroom Apartment
  • Deluxe 5 Bedroom Apartment

The actual differences between the bedsuites vary from one Bistari Apartment Suites to another, with executive being the highest standard of suite.

Deluxe 1 Bedroom Apartment
A single suite is designed to accommodate one person only. The suite contains one single bed or twin bed.
Deluxe 2 Bedroom Apartment
It is designed to accommodate two people only. The suite contains one queen bed or king size bed or if not available a twin bed.
Deluxe 3 Bedroom Apartment
It is designed to accommodate three to four people only. The suite contains one queen bed or king size bed or if not available a twin bed.
Deluxe 4 Bedroom Apartment
It is also designed to accommodate up to six people. The suite contains King/ queen size bed and single beds or if not available a king size bed Family Suites There are two main types of family suites, as follows :
Deluxe 5 Bedroom Apartment
It is designed to accommodate up to seven people only. The suite will contain King/ Queen size bed in the master and midle room and single bed in small room :   Please specify which option you require when sending your reservation form. We can also assist you in seeking accommodation that can accommodate more than seven people in a suite. Please specify the number of people in your party when completing your reservation request form. Note that all kinds of suite category are on request and depend on suite availability.

6. What are the check in and check out times?

Normal policy for Bistari Apartment Suites displayed on our website is that check in time is from 2:00 PM (14:00 hrs.) and the check out time before 3:00 PM (15.00 hrs.).

7. Is breakfast included?

No, we don’t offer breakfast; all taxes and service charged are included in the price. Effectively this means that the suite rate quoted is the total price for the suite, and taxes or service charge will not be added to your bill.

8. Is Internet connection LAN/ Wireless provided?

Yes, we offer High speed internet connection (Download speed 1.0Mbps, Upload speed 256Mbps) both LAN/Wireless. Charges apply for internet service. For more information about internet coverage, feel free to contact our Customer service.

10. Do you recommend Travel Insurance?

We highly recommend that all guests take out comprehensive travel insurance when making a booking. We recommend that insurance covers loss of deposit and other monies through cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage and loss of money, medical expenses, and additional expenses to cover suites accommodation and repatriation costs should any services need to be extended or curtailed due to illness or other insurance risk.

12. What about the special discounts?

Our Special Internet Rates save you money. Because of the large number of lodging reservations we process, to secure your reservation, you require show your Conformation Booking Number. This ensures you have a suit when you arrive so you are not "bumped" or "overbooked." Booking a suit with our Special Internet Rate gives you both savings and security. You can't beat that!
